I finally uploaded the photos, so you’ll know what I’m talking about - Calenday. Dexie had to be in the photo.
This is how we hang it up.

This time five years ago, my gorgeous girl was 16.5 hours - we were on a post-birth high, amazed with the beautiful creature we had made.
Willow is a very affectionate child; Dexie less so. This morning before A and Willow went to work, she ran up to me, gave mea cuddle and said “Love you!”. Dexie saw this and ran over for a cuddle too. As he did this he said “Lub oo!”
This is my gorgeous daughter, Willow. She is at my Auntie’s, with her/my cousins after having gathered some eggs from their hens. We were on our way to Melbourne at this stage and she wanted to take some eggs with us, but my Auntie convinced her to take some hibiscus flowers instead.

After yesterday’s depressing post, I thought I’d post an inspiring quote that I saw on a parenting forum that I visit.
“Thinking that baby formula is as good as breast milk
is believing that thirty years of technology is superior
to three million years of nature’s evolution.
It is an act of female power, and I think […]
This morning we went to the Norwood Christmas Parade - there are a few that take place around the city, but this was the most convenient to us in terms of location and time. In contrast to the Adelaide Christmas Parade, it was cold and raining. We got there at about 9.20am and […]
