Macarons
No, not macaroons, which is what the spell checker wants to correct it to – macarons. In my occasional quest to try cooking something new, I wanted to bake macarons. Apparently they are not easy to make, but I think I did a good job.
I followed the grams of this recipe for precision – whenever a recipe has gone wrong, it’s because I messed around with the measurements or substituted an ingredient. The only thing I added was a splash of vanilla to round out the chocolate flavour. They were very chocolatey and yummy and lasted for about five minutes in this house.
