Ponyo!

I’m so disappointed – I was looking for a movie to take Willow to, but the ones showing at the moment are all a bit scary for our precious petal. Then I saw Ponyo and fell in love. I adore Hayao Miyazaki’s films, especially Spirited Away. It was showing last Wednesday, then this Saturday at 10.30am (today) and next Wednesday.




We could have gone to see it this morning, I was certainly up early enough. We are all under the weather, so I figured that it would probably be on next Saturday and I could take Willow then. Just to be sure, I rang the cinema, but the man I spoke to said that today’s showing was the last one.

If it was showing next Wednesday and it wasn’t such a mindfuck, I’d be tempted to swap my day off…

Guess I’ll have to wait for the DVD now – can’t even acquire it by less than legal means.

    Not too long to wait for Ponyo on DVD – the release date is December 29 :)

    We are slowly building a Ghibli collection for E (and us. Mostly us haha) – she got Totoro for her first Christmas.
