Stream of conciousness
Sometimes my job can be quite emotionally draining. The people I work with are some of the most underprivileged people in our society. Intergenerational poverty of the soul and bank balance. So many of the people I work with have had terrible childhoods. It makes me question nature vs nurture, what influences a person’s personality.
In contrast, A works at an elite private school. He is surrounded by wealth. This makes for some interesting discussions at the end of our days.
Willow wants puppies for Christmas. She wants Russ and Bear (14 year old male, desexed dogs) to have puppies in their tummies. I told her that wasn’t going to happen. I think we might get her some Sylvanian Families figures for Christmas.
I left my phone at home today – I’d slid it under my pillow to stop little fingers grabbing it. I felt like I was missing my right hand all day!
