It’s the Silly Season!
We had Willow’s end of year ELC break up on Sunday. It was held at a pub near her school – I’d never been there, but it had a playground and a decent menu, so I’ll have to keep it in mind for nights when we don’t feel like cooking.
On Sunday evening we put up the Christmas tree. Willow is very aware of Christmas this year, while Dexie just thinks we put up a little toy shop for him.
I am painfully sentimental, so it won’t surprise people who know me well to learn that the Christmas tree has several ornaments and tinsel on it from my childhood.
I have some Christmas candles from when I was young that smell like Christmas to me – it is a fake pine scent, it brings back so many memories.

The Christmas pics are adorable! I especially love the last one of Willow, just gorgeous.
Well done on the hairstyle too, very impressive!
