Hot + Not

Posted December 2nd, 2009 by candi

I have borrowed this idea from Loobylu, a blogger I’ve been reading for ages.

Hot

Hungry Beast. It’s not often that I sit down to watch a TV show, but this is one of the few that I do. No surprise that big names like Andrew Denton and Chas Licciardello are involved.

The weather. It was supposed to get to 32c today, I think it did.

Christmas events. Willow had her Christmas concert last night, she was so cute and did such a good job. Although I had to keep Dexie entertained with a ball he’d pilfered from the play cafe last week, I didn’t get to see all of it, but I did see the important parts.

Podcasts, especially from Dr Karl and the guys from Stuff You Should Know. It’s not very often I want to write fan (e)mail, but I should write to them.

These earrings. I adore earrings that are one piece – I have a pair of dragonfly earrings like this, but they are brass, I think.

Not

Having random people come in off the street at work and freak out. Drugs are not cool.

Triple J’s breakfast format changing. I hate it when radio presenters change.

The piles of stuff everywhere at home. We are going to put up the Christmas tree on the weekend, but I need to do some serious tidying up.

This ridiculous cough I have. I am so sick of people commenting on it. Coughing makes me feel better, but it’s also tiring.

I have been enjoying Hungry Beast too (when I remember its on) I had no idea that Andrew Denton and Chas Licciardello are behind its scenes!! Great stuff.
Andrew is an inspirational person, a great human being!! Chas (Lame Arse) is very funny and totally crazy – I like that!
And the unstoppable Dr Karl is a great science educator, his enthusiasm is contagious!!
    Chele xx
