Willow, A and I are cuddling up in bed, me on my laptop and they are looking at a puzzle book. Dexie is having a nap - he didn’t have one yesterday and he was a mess by 5pm. I thought he might have dropped his day sleeps by now.
This children are going to a friend’s house tonight, while we go out. We had her daughter for a sleep-over, so she is returning the favour.
I just attempted to make cream buns. Willow chose a recipe for chocolate eclairs (long cream buns with cream inside and chocolate icing on top) It was a spectacular fail. Oh well, the cup cakes for tonight worked and you can’t go too far wrong with roasting sweet potato in honey, EVOO and S&P. The chicken stock is coming along nicely too.
