The Book Depository

Posted November 7th, 2009 by candi

I don’t do much online shopping, but one of my favourite places to buy things is the Book Depository. They are a British website, but offer free shipping internationally. Orders turn up in a surprisingly short length of time, but they send each book individually. Strange. Apparently, it is something to do with getting free postage. Can’t complain about that.

I bought Buddhism for Mothers of Young Children, by Sarah Napthali and How to talk so your children will listen and listen so your children will talk, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mizlish. For Dexie I bought The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. It’s a book I’ve heard lots of good things about. I also got What do people do all day, by Richard Scarry, partly for the reminiscing and partly for Willow to learn about the different jobs out there.

My books are my post-exam treat, but I’m enjoying The Gruffalo. Willow’s book hasn’t turned up yet.
