Sleepover!
Willow had her first friend sleepover last night. N goes to the same Family Day Care as Dexie and so got to know Willow when she went there last year. Dexie adores her, N is his FDC big sister.
Willow and N are gorgeous together, a cacophony of giggles, squeals and laughter. I was a bit worried about N, but it was Willow who got upset. We put them on the sofa bed in the lounge room together with pillows, stuffed toys, blankets and quilts. I did sit with them for a while, hoping they would go to sleep, but they were far too excited and I was too tired and wanted to go to bed. Willow got upset, so our compromise was to leave a Diego DVD on but with the sound muted. 10 minutes later they were fast asleep.
This morning I made them pancakes and chocolate milk. N’s mum came and the three of them played outside while we had a coffee and chatted. N had to go to her father’s for the day, so they left sooner than they wanted, but next time we agreed on a big shared breakfast.
While I was taking photos of the girls, Dexie turned on his charm for the camera.
