Numbers

I’m sure you will all be pleased to know that my blood pressure measured quite a bit lower today. I managed to sneak home for lunch and it was 146/88. Important point here is that there were no children around at this time!

Tonight it was 144/91. Better, but still a bit too high. I’m taking 60mg of slow release nifedipine twice a day, so it’s nice to see it kick in. I still felt flushed/sunburnt and a bit out of sorts today. We actually moved offices this morning which has been a long time coming. Now we are officially in the postcode area we service, as per our funding agreement. Our office is near a major shopping centre, which could be a good thing and a bad thing. I know they do decent sushi there.

If I believed in any kind of after life, I wonder what my father would be saying. Apart from “Don’t forget to take your bloody tablets!” he’d probably be chuckling to himself quietly. I remember him having high blood pressure and him attributing it to my and my brother’s behaviour!

    You had me at sushi.

And Loling (actual chuckle here..) about your Dad! I have no doubt that if I believed in an afterlife (which I don’t), my mother would find Samuel just freaking hysterical! Cow! ;-)
