Let them eat cake!
While I’m on a posting spree, I thought I’d share this: Tomorrow, some friends are coming over, as a mutual friend is visiting from Sydney. It was my turn to host, so I’ve semi-hijacked it for Dexie’s birthday. I think there will be about 10 children here, so it will be like a party! Willow seems to think it is going to be a party, I might be forced to do a pass the parcel.
For his big cake, I’m going to attempt something like this.
Except, I’m going to make a road, rather than the rail, and I have two Thomas the Tank Engine cars to go on the road. I’ve already done the top layer. His name, in green fondant is sitting on top of it. I have also done some stars on wire to stick out of the top.
The other thing I’m going to make are these burger cupcakes. I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time to do the fries. Very cute though.
