the weeks go flying past…

Sometimes I feel like the weeks go flying past, punctuated by the weekends and uni. The first semester is nearly at an end, so I’ve been busy studying and writing. Work is gaining momentum now, I have some great clients and the team is really starting to work well together. Sadly we are losing one of our members to Murray Bridge, they are very lucky to have her!

Last night I went out with a friend and her group of friends, who I’ve never met before. It was a great night – we started off at a Korean restaurant on Gouger St called Mapo and ended the night with cocktails at the Hilton lobby. It was good to get out and meet some different people. I think my friend and I were the only ones with children, so it was nice to talk about non-child related issues!

Today I went into the uni library to get some more book references. It turned out to be a bit of a disaster because I took Willow with me. She doesn’t understand the concept of being quiet! Even though I took her down the back where the children’s books and teaching resources are, she still played up when I went to get the books I actually need. When will I learn? Thankfully the library in town is open from 9-5 tomorrow and on Monday, which is a public holiday. I will be leaving Willow behind this time!
