Such a boy!
I am so glad the have the opportunity to raise a child of each gender – the concept of nature vs nurture has always fascinated me. I’d like to think that I do treat and will treat Willow and Dexter equally, if not equitably. I have been observing Dexter to see what difference there is between boys and girls at this age. He does seem more interested in duplo and cars, but not to a huge extent.
So I had to laugh the other day when I gave him Willow’s new fairy wand to take in from the car. He hadn’t seen it before and while I was driving he was randomly poking things with it but as soon as I got him out of the car, he tried to dig up the gravel with it! Such a boy!

It’s amazing how different they can be, isn’t it? Even though mine are both boys, they amaze me with how different they are. Samuel is all ‘boy’. Xander is more sensitive. Quirky. He used blocks (even at the age of 3) to spell words out. Never, ever built a tower with them.
Sam demolishes them. He stacks them up just so he can knock them down! As loudly and obnoxiously as he can!
Damn he’s cute though.
Has to be time for more pics, Candi. I looove looking at your delicious children! Have such a soft spot for Miss Willow.
