you tee eye v2.0

Posted May 8th, 2009 by candi

I am at home sick today. I have another UTI, which has been indicated by dizzy spells, fever and nausea. Also another symptom that I won’t go into here for reasons of privacy.

I even went to the extent of organising for A to take Dexie to FDC. Part of the reason I haven’t called in sick earlier is because once I’ve got him organised and at FDC, it’s just as easy to keep driving and go to work anyway.

The plan was for me to stay in bed and sleep all day. I even had some medication to assist me in exactly that. Alas and alack, I didn’t take it, instead I read in bed for a while, played online and stared out the window. Then I got bored and remembered that there was still a metric tonne of washing to do from when the washing machine had broken. Of course there are always dishes to do in this house and the wall unit needed weeding tidying.

Note: It is rather jarring, if you are raging out to Daughter by Pearl Jam while cooking, to have a Justine Clarke song shuffle up next on your iPod.

Hope you are feeling better Candi, hope to see you back at work on Monday. Had a productive day on Friday creating some cover letters, visiting Head Space to share info at Salisbury. Happy Mothers Day!!!!!!!!! no doubt tinged with sadness as well as joy of being a mother yourself. I am having lunch with Alicia and possibly my son, however he was at a party at Largs Pier hotel last night so it depends how he scrubs up today, (how bad the hangover is – can he eat etc etc)
I will catch up with him during the week. Have begun to pack for my move, feeling just a bit more organised and ready now. Will make a trip to Mannam next weekend with the first load and catch up with Cathy and Tim who arrived back from Alice on Thursday. It was good to catch up with Pat (my house mat) who arrived back from Japan on Thursday also. Enjoy your day and see you at work.
