Dexter at 19 months.
He is incredibly cute. The evidence:
* He is learning to jump. So far, he has the upward thrust happening, but he hasn’t quite learnt to lift his feet off the ground.
* He has some words that we can understand. Mostly obvious ones like book, Bear (the dog) biscuit, Dad, Mum, Wi (for Willow) etc.
* He has excellent receptive language.
* He gives kisses now. One of my favourite parenting moments was him kissing Willow tonight.
* He loves scribbling – all over his big sister’s drawings.
* He is good at playing on the scooters and bikes at Family Day Care
* He eats a decent amount, but also likes throwing his food at the dogs!
