slackness
Again with the no updates. Life has been busy – weeks have blurred by, just as it seems Monday has finished, the weekend is starting. Work has been hectic, but I’m hoping for change in that area. I am loving my job, but the travelling is too much. Plus Uni is starting again next week – my holidays were for about two weeks, thanks to the summer school subject I did.
This afternoon Willow and I went with some friends to the ballet. We saw Firebird and other legends.
I have to admit that ballet is not something I could go to on a regular basis, but it certainly was a visual treat. Willow was a bit bored with the first one, which was quite abstract so I don’t blame her. The second one was more interesting and appealing, but by the third one she was a bit distracted/distracting. In hindsight, it went for 2.5 hours, so she did alright for a 4 year old.
It was performed at the Festival Centre, I hadn’t been inside since I was 16 and saw a performance of The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. One of the best things about this afternoon, apart from seeing Willow with her little friend, was running into someone I knew in another life. I got her phone number – now to squeeze her back into my current life.
