End of the first week.
Apologies in advance if this post is not entirely coherent, I’m tired. First week of work has gone so quickly. Learning lots – mostly geographically. Clients are from the Southern Suburbs and I live in a North Eastern suburb and have mostly worked in the North and North East of Adelaide. I know how to [...]

Willow’s robot!
Willow and A made a robot today. The robot is Willow’s friend now. Alternatively, the robot has been Willow while she has been the mummy. I have been their FDC lady while she drops them off, or the shop keeper while she and Willow go shopping. Very cute!

Banana cranberry loaf.
It’s a bit sad that I hadn’t tasted fresh cranberries til I was 31, but they are quite tart compared to the dried ones I’m used to. This is the banana and cranberry loaf I made with them. Cooking them made them a lot sweeter!

Toooo much information!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you! I keep seeing the bookmark for this up the top of the page and thinking that I must blog about it, so I’ll do it now. About a week ago I became the proud owner of a Diva Cup. According to the website: The DivaCup, a menstrual alternative, ends [...]

Thanking my guardian angel.
I decided on a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates as a safe but boring gift. While I was out today I picked up a nice bottle of Merlot and a pretty wine gift bag. I still wasn’t sure what kind of chocolates to get and being a warm day I didn’t want [...]

New job = awesome
Lovely old building to work in – check. Great team mates – check. Fantastic benefits – check. Seemingly organised organisation – check. Rather lovely manager – check. Tolerable commute (12 min to FDC and 30 min to work) – check. New govie diary – check. Adds up to an awesome job! Oh and what A [...]

Well that was a stupid idea.
Remind me not to take Panadeine Forte before I have to do something important again. I managed to submit the essay plan by 4:50pm, which was a big relief. One of my bestest friends at uni spends days, weeks stressing over every assessment. I try to do a lot of research leading into them, but [...]

100 things you should do!
I took some Panadeine Forte and Brufen so I’m feeling a bit spacy. Not really compatible with doing uni stuf, so I am doing this instead. I got this list from Jayne’s blog – she tagged everyone who hasn’t done it, which means me! 1. Started your own blog. 2. Slept under the stars. 3. [...]

At Uni again!
I am at uni all day today – I have an essay plan due at 5pm. Me – procrastinate? Never! Seriously, I seem to get really good marks when I do this. I have always worked better under pressure. From tomorrow, I won’t have the luxury of time to do this – I start my [...]
