More Christmas shopping
I’m at uni again, trying to knock the next assessment piece over. It’s due on the 5th of January, which seems like eons away, that’s next year! I know that the time between now and then will go quickly though, so while I have the time, I’ll get it done!
A and I had a discussion about Christmas presents last night. Neither of us want to go over board with plastic crap this year. We buy them things throughout the year, so they don’t really need much. We also don’t want to make too big a deal of Santa because it feels like lying to us. We will be doing the majority of our Christmas shopping for them here, not here! At this stage, Santa will be filling their stocking – one I made last year for each of them, they will get a pair of PJs each, a present each from one to the other, the swing set, a clamshell sandpit and paddling pool, a toddler gym (these two are from a friend whose children have outgrown them). They aren’t going to get masses of presents from anyone else, and I think what we are getting them is plenty.
My Dad would have been 58 today.
