Is it really bad?

To have practice fairy bread for dinner?

I am planning Dexie’s first birthday. I have a theme – bugs and I’m running with it!

At this stage his cake will be a caterpillar. I’m also planning to make the following:

Ladybird cupcakes
Bee cupcakes
Worm cupcakes
Blue lamingtons with fondant butterflies perched on them
Fairy bread cut in the shape of a dragon fly
Fairy bread cut in the shape of a snail

Plus some other non-bug themed food like mini pizzas, little quiches and sausage rolls.
And of course, the obligatory fruit plate.

I won’t write too much more because I’m sure that some of the people who are invited read this blog and I don’t want to ruin their surprise!

    I love the sound of your party food. Can I come? ;)
    Fairy bread is good anytime. There’s bread, that’s good. There’s butter (or healthy alternative), that’s good. The sprinkles taste good and are pretty. Sounds fine to me.
