I am sitting in bed with a cup of Earl Grey and my new laptop. Well, it’s not so much new, as it is new to me. A bought a new laptop, so I have his old one. It’s a cute little thing – 14 inch screen and it’s white so looks like a Mac. Now I have to configure everything to the way I like it. It’s nice to have a laptop that works as a laptop – the screen on my old one is broken, so I had to hook it up to a monitor. Not terribly portable!
I have just finished off two cupcakes that A and Willow made on the weekend and I have my Rani curled up next to me. Bliss.
So, lots of other stuff going on at the moment. I’m in a quandry with jobs, I don’t want to say anything lest I jinx myself but I’m trying to look at it as having options, rather than feeling overwhelmed and undecided.
A and I are planning Dexie’s first birthday at a park near us. I can’t believe my baby is nearly one year old, where did the time go?
We went shopping on the weekend and while I was in a women’s clothing shop I saw a pair of PJs in Willow’s size. Absolutely adorable. So I went to buy them (typical mum, I went in there to buy something for me!) when the sales assistant said that it was a Mother and Daughter range, did I want to see the matching women’s pyjamas? I know, i know, it’s incredibly twee, but I fell for it and bought matching pyjama bottoms for me. I will have to take a photo of her in them tonight.
Ok, I had better jump out of bed, have a shower and pick up the children.
