Please no number three…
I’m not usually a superstitious person, but my Mum used to say that deaths happen in threes. First was the sister of a friend and this morning it was A’s boss. He went out for a morning jog, came back and was getting ready to go to work when he had a massive heart attack. His daughter found him.
A has lost a friend and a mentor. He described him as the only person he could have a decent, non-personal argument with.
I interviewed him for a uni essay about 18 months ago, he’d lived an amazing life. Born in the UK, he taught in Africa (the name of the exact county escapes me) at a school there, then emmigrated to Australia and taught at a tough school (children were sent there after being expelled from other schools) in Melbourne, he then came here and worked in a non-teaching role in a private school.
R.I.P.

OH, I’m sorry to hear that.
Poor A. That’s really sad, Candi.
Also hoping there isn’t a third.
