something nice

Someone at work said something nice to me the other day. It wasn’t the ordinary work conversations that I have every day at work and of course, I have several nice things said to me every day, particularly by Willow and A.

This was more meaningful though. At the place where I have been working there have been many, many changes. One of the staff members who has been there for longer than I have thanked me for making working there tolerable.

I guess it is difficult to understand just how meaningful the comment was, but the workplace was incredibly dysfunctional before I came along.
