yuck
I’m sick. Running a nice sweaty fever and I have a bowling ball wedged in my throat. I believe I also have a good dose of sinusitis and the conjunctivitis that Dexie has is threatening to take over my eyes. I kept both the children home today, partly because the thought of having to get them both ready was a bit much and partly because I don’t see enough of them as it is.
I can’t eat much at the moment, so I have some potato boiling in some consomme. Hopefully that will fill my tummy. I’ve usually had breakfast and morning tea by now but all I’ve had is a glass of pineapple juice.
I submitted my first essay of the semester last night. I’d stayed up til 1am the night before, and last night writing it. Not sure what grade I’ll get, I’d like to be optimistic, but realistically I’ll be happy with a credit.
A rang at 2:30pm to see how I was. He ended up getting home at 3pm to help out with the kids. I slept until 6pm, woke up and had banana bread with tea for dinner. Now I am having a honey and lemon drink and going back to bed.

Sorry to hear that, C. Hope that it clears up quickly. I think you’re amazing, to still cope with the kids and uni at the same time you’re this sick.
I”m never going to be you or Jenn or Lex, and I”m ashamed to admit it. I want to go back to school so badly, but I”m overwhelmed at the thought of it.
Get better soon, my friend. I’ll be thinking of you.
