Willow the threenager

Posted May 22nd, 2008 by candi

I heard about the concept of the threenager the other day and I thought it fit Willow quite well.  She is so defiant for us at the moment, but with other people she is an angel.  Her FDCarer described her as one of the most easy going children she’s had and we always get good reports from Childcare.  At home it’s a different story though, and I know it is worse when I am bust, rushed or stressed.  I will ask her to do something and she will say “Don’t talk to me like that!”  She alternates between being a Daddy’s girl and completely rejecting him.

A has been picking her and Dexter up on the days that I have uni, but on other days when it is just me picking her up, she throws a tantrum for him and starts hitting me.  She’d NEVER hit me in her life!

Threenager huh? That would describe Sienna very aptly! And same deal-her FDC’er, her dancing teacher, kinder teachers describe her as “an angel, so sweet and quiet”; yeah, they don’t see her screaming her lungs out at home and beating up her 7 y.o brother. LOL
