The group leader at Willow’s childcare (she goes once a week on Wednesdays) spoke to me this morning about Willow moving up to the next room. She’s my baby! She can’t be that old yet, that’s like her almost being ready for kindy! Apparently she is more than ready for the challenge. Last week she spent an afternoon there and raved about the computers. She is her father’s daughter! She will miss one of her little friends, but I am friends with her mother, so that will not be too much of an issue hopefully.
I got a bit teary about this as I walked to the car, then I realised that next year she will be starting at the Early Learning Centre at A’s school.
My baby will be starting school!
Now that will be hard on this mummy!

Ah it’s bittersweet, this whole babies growing up business. Sienna is at 3 y.o kinder this year, and while just reading Liam’s school newsletter about the school transition program just starting there for the kids who’ll attend the year after, I realised this time next year Sienna will be in 4 y.o kinder and about to start the school transition program! Eeek..where does the time go?
