Solids

Posted April 24th, 2008 by admin

We started Dexter with solids when he was about 5.5 months old. He was a very reluctant eater though and never very keen on purees or rice cereal. I decided to go with baby lead weaning, giving him things he could feed himself rather than forcing him to eat what he did not want.

To this point he has had:

  • apple
  • pear
  • rice
  • banana
  • avacado
  • apricots
  • broccoli
  • carrot
  • apricot
  • pumpkin
  • potato
  • spinach
  • The apricot seems to have given him a reaction on his face and a very upset tummy the night before last. Apart from that it’s all good.
