The weekend wrapped up.
On Friday night I picked both the children up from my friend who was looking after them while I went to work. Finally got home at 6pm, grabbed A and took off to the drive in. We saw Spiderwick Chronicles, which was surprisingly good, Forgetting Sarah Marshall which was hilarious and Superhero, which was tragically bad.
The children weren’t too bad, and when they were, it didn’t matter because no-one could hear them!
Next time we will take our own food and drinks. We spent nearly as much on greasy food for dinner as we did to get in!
On Saturday we did a bit of shopping after making a dash to Gribbles to drop of A’s sperm test. Hopefully it was a no-sperm test! He had his vasectomy in December, so in theory it should be all clear.
I stopped at my favourite op-shop and bought a brown and aqua top, brown pants from Portman’s and a brown skirt with aqua flowers on it. I was quite pleased to find the Portmans pants – they are a size 12 and they fit me! There might be a bit of a mini-muffin top, but they fit me! Sometimes I think that I manage to pick up clothes that were all donated by the same person and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the three items above were from the same person.
On Saturday night we went to my friend/midwife’s phD party. It was a great night with lots of fab discussion and meeting new people. I got told I was the most beautiful woman in the world by a rather inebriated man!
Sunday was spent doing very little – no hangover, thankfully!
