Dread…
I dread the start of May. The dread starts around half way through April and I usually work on distracting myself, with a measure of success and so it is gone by the end of May. Why? There are several important dates in May. It used to be a happy month, with Mother’s Day, Mum’s birthday and my birthday. Since Mum died on May the fifth, it has tainted that month. A’s birthday is on the ninth of May, but I’m afraid I never do it justice. A’s mum’s birthday is on the 20th, a day (and 19 years) before my Mum’s. Coincidentally, our fathers were born on the same date, 5 years apart.
To make things harder, our neighbours have recently had a new baby and her mother has been there almost every day of the week. From what I know of them from our infrequent chats, they have a lovely normal relationship. It’s difficult to deal with not having that myself, when I so much looked forward to giving mum grand-children.

Hi Candi
It’s Michelle Smith (now Puckridge). Kym and I tied the knot in October last year. Love married life. I’m now the proud step mum to Jackson (now 5 and at school).
Found you website by accident today and have spent a good part of the afternoon…catching up so to speak.
Hope all is well…would love to catch up!
Michelle
