Procrastination

I have a 1500 word tutorial paper due tomorrow at 5pm, but I’m writing this post instead. This is like a writing exercise, a warm up, right?

This afternoon we went to a get together at a local park, hosted by my midwife. It was quite cold outside, but Willow loved running around and playing on the playground. When it got too cold, we went back to the midwife’s house and talked – a bit about birth and the medicalisation of the event. Since that’s what my tutorial paper is about, it was quite apt!

My midwife is having a phD party next week, she is now a Doctor of Philosophy. I’m very proud of her!
