raising willow… and dexter!

That’s how hot it is supposed to be here today. We are in the middle of the longest heatwave in Adelaide, nay in any capital city in Australia.

I’m past complaining about it, I’m over it. We have been keeping up with our normal routine, but poor Dex gets a heat rash when it’s too hot, so today we are staying at home. I’m glad we have ABC2!

I have Uni tonight and managed to express 180ml this morning. I hope that will keep Dex satisfied. I have made a big batch of lactation cookies and most of them are gone, so between that and the Maxolon, my ability to express seems a lot better.

I have introduced a sippy cup with water and he seems to be coping ok with it – some spillage.  It’s probably not such a bad thing to have a wet bib in this weather anyway!
