The one I made used glass beads which Dex likes to play with, grasp and gum. The bigger beads have bumps on them and he seems to like them. The necklace itself is triple clamped twice, so it's safe in that beads aren't likely to come off. Plus it's pretty, there are some hideous breastfeeding necklaces out there!
