Birthday preparations

It’s Willow’s birthday on Tuesday and her party next Sunday.

So today we are leaving Willow with a friend and her daughter who is the same age, and going out to buy a bike for her.

There has been a discussion on a forum I go to about leaving your children with friends and/or family. We don’t have any family nearby who we would trust with Willow, so that rules that out. I do have friends who I would trust with Willow, and have done on occasion, but I really don’t like to be indebted to them. Besides, Willow is not a difficult child and I really do enjoy spending time with her.

We’ve had most people respond in the affirmative to her party invites. I was a bit worried that inviting 10children would be too much, but with people not being able to come it will be fine.
