Christmas
A and I just finished wrapping up Willow’s Christmas presents. I feel a bit bad because Dexter only has a wooden rattle, but really, he doesn’t need anything else and I refuse to buy toys for the sake of buying toys.
Our Christmas tree this year:

It’s the first time we’ve put one up, since Willow hasn’t really understood Christmas previous years. We also have an advent calendar this year, which has been very exciting for Willow.
This year we have bought her a FP camera, a Very Hungry Caterpillar Felt board, a toy penguin and a library of 10 Dr Seuss books. I also sewed her and Dexter a stocking each – his has nothing in it this year. Hers has a few bits and pieces in it, hairties, a toy car, play money, Hello Kitty lollies, a box of chalk.
These are the stockings, you can see the advent calendar in the background.

I was sewing some toy monkeys for friend’s daughters, but I managed to do some damage to my fingernail with the sewing machine, so I’ve kind of gone off the idea. I also damaged my sewing machine at the same time, I bent one of the thread guides.
