Let’s get physio!
If there is a positive to having SPD, it is that I resolved to increase my fitness levels post-pregnancy. To that end, I have booked Dexter and I into mummy & baby exercise classes. This morning I had an assessment appointment with the physiotherapist who runs them.
I’d initially thought that it would be a bit of a waste of time, but it turned out not to be. She confirmed that my body was recovering quite well and actually used an ultrasound machine to show me the muscles that need to get stronger/thicker and how well my pelvic floor was working!
I was touched to see that they’d cut out Dexter’s birth notice and put it in my file. I wish I’d found them when I was pregnant with Willow!
