My day off.
Not working Fridays is lovely, it’s nice to have a day off. I did have plans tocatch up with a friend, but she is ill, so had to cancel. Instead we are having a day at home, I’m doing housework, hopefully a bit of sewing, some cooking, cleaning out the fish tank.
I thought I’d try baking some brioche. It’s on it’s first rise in a very low oven with the door ajar. It’s supposed to be in a warm place to rise and that’s about the warmest place there is here right now.
