It worked!
My BSL this morning was 3.8, so while it was technically too low, that is the highest I’ve tested it at. The pudding worked! I tested throughout the day and it stayed fairly stable, 5.1, 5.4 and 4.1. I didn’t actually eat that well because I forgot my ATM card. I had two fruit muffins (of the English variety) a chicken cup-a-soup with 5 water crackers, two pieces of caramel fudge and two blackcurrant pastilles.
A group of on-line friends have formed a book club and The Time Traveller’s Wife is the first book on the pile. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but I’ve read some reviews and it sounds like a very interesting book. I’m looking forward to reading it – I just have to find a copy! Looks like it will be made into a movie too. Since Willow was born I haven’t been reading as much as I used to – not surprising really. I have this book, Loose Screws on my bedside table but it hasn’t really grabbed me.
Since I forgot my ATM card, I didn’t go for my usual walk at lunch and now my back is stiff and sore. I am lying on the couch with a heat pack on my back. I must remember to get up and walk around more often at work. This afternoon I came home to a lovely package – a massive (DL) bag of baby boy clothes, mostly size 0000 to 00. Quite a few body suits, which A likes.
I think that we are all set clothes wise for about the first 6 months.
