New theme.

I hope you all like the new theme – the black was a bit depressing.

We are all still a bit under the weather – Willow has a terrible cough and we are still going through tissues at a rate of knots. Today is a veg out day at home for Willow and I, but I was thinking about going to the op-shop to look at maternity clothes and books for Willow.

Edited to add:

I scored maternity jeans in my size, a pair of purple ballet flats, a white and green polo shirt, and a black work jacket from Portmans. Also got a hat for childcare, a chick lit book, a pair of dress up shoes for W, a book for W and a sewing mag. Grand total of $28 and W had lots of fun trying on every single shoe in the shop!

We did have grand plans to go to an ante-natal class tonight, but it was all too hard. I have an impossible pie in the oven, W and I are drinking honey and lemon drinks and waiting for A to get home.

Funny things Willow did today.

  • Insisted on taking a bag with her to the shop. I couldn’t find any of the bags I’ve made for her, so I gave her one of my hand bags I wasn’t using. I bought it in NYC, so it was kind of surreal to see her carrying it.
  • She got some yogurt on one of her steps – I didn’t realise this, but she put it in the bath. This is exactly what I do when she’s made a mess on it and I haven’t had time to clean it.
  • Just now, she came up to me and said “Where’s my keys?” Sounded exactly like me in the mornings!

Yikes, I have to be mature and responsible in comments now… hrmm, I’ll have to wing it. :) I like the new theme, much easier to read, and the other one took a really long time to load pages at times.

Have a good weekend, but, I think willow will be able to swim around in maternity clothes… I’m sure she’ll like the books though; As long as they’re green.

Hey, have you read any books by Chuck Palahunik?
